Seasons greetings everyone!
This month is indeed a month to celebrate; not only for the birth of Jesus, but personally (for myself), my birth. I’m super super grateful to God for enabling me to see a new year and enter a new age. I know not everyone has the same privilege as myself, to see this age so I once again thank God. I’m also thanking Him for the health of my family and friends. In particular, for the types of friends he has enabled me to have.
Growing up I used to have an idea of the type of friends that I wanted to have but I really want to say that God has gone above and beyond, and if possible, has surpassed himself in the friends that He has brought into my life, and given me the honour and privilege to call friends. I know for a lot of us, this year has not gone as intended but let’s look within and find the things (no matter how big or small) to thank God for. Gratitude may start small but I’ve found that as I begin to give thanks for the ‘little’ things, before I know it so many more things start to come to mind and I’m ultimately reminded of God’s faithfulness.
This year has been rough, but let’s try not to end it focused on what went wrong. Let’s end it in thanksgiving. No matter what went wrong, we’re still alive to tell the tale and to say we’ve been through the fire but we were not burnt. Glory to God.
All that to say, I will be taking a break from writing until the new year so that I can come back fresh and stronger. For those that have followed this blog this year; that have read and shared my content I’m grateful to God for you. So so grateful. I pray that He will perfect all that concerns you and meet you wherever you need help. Let’s stay healthy and meet in the new year.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
