t’s been a while since I’ve posted sorry…! Work and deadlines have been a bit crazy. Anyhoo, I jumped on here last week to post a verse image (below) and whilst I didn’t talk much about it I had it in the back of my mind to elaborate on it.
1 Peter 3:13 reads, ‘And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?’. This spoke to me so strongly. Lately I’ve been battling with how best to share my faith, especially in the workplace; with how best to make it obvious without being overpoweringly obvious. It’s weird and it was really hard for me to find a balance.
So, I’m sure you can imagine my joy and surprise when I came across this passage.
This verse made me think, so… you’re saying that through my character, and what I do (and most importantly, refuse to do) people can know Christ? You’re saying that by following good and doing what is right, it takes away the enemies’ weapons to harm me and pour accusations against me? Wow!
This took me back and took me forwards, to know that people can be positively impacted by my actions, and that doing good covers and protects you. So yeah, I had my answer! Through my behaviour and what I do, people can come to know my God and experience Him for themselves. What a testimony! 😊
