Faith in the face of doubt

I think I posted a similar blog on this topic a few months ago but clearly, it’s still a lesson that I’m learning. To be honest, I don’t think we ever stop learning about faith or having to develop our faith further- different things happen to us in life that require our level of faith. And if our faith is being tempted it means that there’s further for us to go in God and a higher level for us to reach, and more of God for us to know.

Today, I’ve just jumped on here to talk about what I’m having to learn in this season of my life. It’s quite funny how I, in particular, am always eager to move from one season of my life to another e.g. finish A-Levels to going to university and moving from university to living my best life (lol!) but it’s funny how your imagination rarely lines up with reality; maybe that’s why it’s called an imagination?!

These days I’m having to learn to trust God in the little things, and in everything. It’s a bit scary navigating the world without the covering of being a student and having to navigate the unnerving world of job searching but I really feel like God has been reminding me of the fact that I can trust in Him, and that He’s got me covered. This has really just been through Him reminding me of my testimonies: of how He’s brought me this far, of the miracle of me even making it into my university in the first place. I’ve been seeing His words all around me, in the posts I see, in the advice I’ve been receiving, in everything! It’s reassuring to know that God still has me in His mind and that He hasn’t forgotten about me. And that’s really just all that I came to share today, that no matter what we/you may be going through, that God knows and that He’s aware; that we should keep our faith in Him and He will surely work it out. Remember your testimonies of how God has come around for you previously and let that encourage you in whatever season you’re in.

And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

God loves you!
