The Lies we Tell

Lately there have been a few things bothering me and it seems like everyday there’s something I read, hear about or see that convinces me that this world is crazy and that many things are not normal or as they seem.  With the occurrence of news about secret cults, secret societies, modern day slavery it’s not surprising that many are left to question if there is still good in this world, well I for one have found myself asking this question.

It’s therefore occurred to me that in this world many things will happen, and if we let ourselves dwell on those things for too long, they can ultimately alter our thinking (perhaps not in the best of ways) and leave us on a path that’s not right. And that’s why it’s important for us to guard our hearts. And to seriously make sure that we check everything that comes across it. It’s very important that we’re extra careful and that we don’t let certain thoughts and negative emotions fester within us and bear fruit.

About a week ago, I had a dream that has ultimately led to me writing this blog post. Ultimately in this dream people were more willing to focus on a lie and trust so much in a lie that they would personally choose to dismiss the truth when shown to them and told to them. This was quite shocking to me as it showed that we are in a world where many will wilfully stand with a lie at the expense of truth. We have to be careful. We have to carefully check ourselves and guard our hearts against anything that’s not of God, and God will help us.

Ope.

  1. A lot of of whatever you say is astonishingly legitimate and it makes me ponder the reason why I hadn’t looked at this with this light before. This particular article really did turn the light on for me as far as this specific subject goes. Nevertheless at this time there is actually one factor I am not really too comfy with and whilst I try to reconcile that with the actual main theme of your position, permit me observe just what the rest of your visitors have to point out.Nicely done.
